Despite the gameplay which resembles a scratch card game Scratch King has enough elements to be categorized as a slot game as well. It may not have spinning reels, but every other segment points towards the slot category. Scratch King is one of the latest creations of NetoPlay. This seemingly incognito software provider has a number of amusing games under its belt, one of which is this one. It offers a state of the art animated appearance followed by catchy cheerful soundtrack. The dashboard allows players to intuitively jump into play right away. Ideally, this game will catch the sight of slot players who like to experiment and are always eager to try something new.
Scratch King has a 5x3 field grid. It has no reels since it’s supposed to be a scratch game. Nonetheless, if you’ve ever played a slot game you’ll find your way around rather easy. There are 3 activated lines at all times which if winning reward the player with the prize which come up in the PRIZE field. The entry bet is 0.30 or in other words 0.10 per line. Players can re-adjust the bet per spin/scratch to suit their style and their budget as long as it’s in the range of 0.30 and 30.
Upon pressing the spin button players can scratch each field individually which will reveal one symbol at a time. Pressing the spin button twice auto scratches all symbols and reveals them all at once. Because of this feature it can’t be considered as an exclusive scratch card game or a slot.
This multiline scratch card game has a high 95% return to players and decent hit frequency. In order to win players should hit 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols starting from the furthest left. Scratch King provides players with a little push by having a Wild Symbol which is represented with the Joker. Below the main screen there are 3 chests and an opportunity to win a bonus prize. The chests need to be unlocked with 3 keys. Hitting 3 keys anywhere on the grid will open the chests and you will be rewarded with an additional bonus prize.
The rest of the symbols which players will see include the common fruits, 7s, horse shoe, 4 leaf club etc. It seems like the designers of the game didn’t want to move too far away of the mainstream concepts. Nevertheless, there’s room for excitement, plenty of it.
We can’t point out any special game feature besides the one of a kind game concept which sits somewhere in between a scratch card game and a slot game there’s not much else to note. In practice this game gets the attention of players because it’s something new and unseen. On paper this is going to be the thorn in casino operators’ eyes as they can’t put it both in the scratch card and slot category.
When was the last time you tried something new? I guess today will be one of those days when you get amazed by Scratch King. Look around and find a bonus with which you can enjoy in this joyful masterpiece. We expect to see more of these crossovers which stretch their limbs across two game categories.
