Legends of Africa is a video slot that has 5 reels, or at least 5 columns of symbols. The 1st and the 5th reel have 2 rows of symbols, the 2nd and the 4th have 3, and the middle one has 5 symbols. There are 30 lines in play at all times. Players cannot interact with this setting. However, they can place more than 1 coin per line, up to a maximum of staggering 20 coins. The coin has a minimum value of 0.01 and it can go as high as modest 0.20. By far the most distinctive feature of Legends of Africa is the unique layout. We believe that most of the players that come back for more are doing so just because the one of a kind game appearance. The top prize is 500 times the bet placed.
Make sure you lower the volume before you spin the reels. The audio although decent, can be pretty loud. There’s a rhino running in the back right in front of a beautiful African sunset. The symbol set is inspired by the wildlife in Africa, the fauna in particular. However, the symbol that will bring you prizes the most doesn’t show an animal. Instead, it shows a cozy fire in a calm African village. This symbol is the Wild and it substitutes for any other symbol except the scatter symbol. The highest paying symbol is the Girl. She might be a princess or just a girl in ceremonial clothes, no one knows.
The Scatter symbol can also be considered as the bonus symbol. Hitting 3 Mask Bonus symbols triggers a free spin bonus feature called Mask Picking Bonus. It’s a pick and click feature where the player can win one of 3 possible prizes.
One of the distinctive rules of the base game is the Any Way Blast feature. It states, whenever the first & fifth reel show a stack of the same symbol this symbol pays any way. This means that the player can actually win 144 times the bet placed on that line. If there’s no natural pay, the player is rewarded with a prize of 5 times the bet.
The 3 possible prize of the Mask Picking Bonus includes a multiplier, a guaranteed stack on reel 1 and extra wild symbols. Depending on what the player chooses there can be 10, 12 and 15 free spins respectively. Bear in mind, the Mask Bonus symbols can appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Lastly, there’s the Mystery Feature. Although we know a lot about Africa, there’s much unexplored. Certain reel mystery positions are replaced with other game symbols. This happens before each reel spin.
It’s unique, eye-catching and it can be rewarding. There are players who’d always opt for a video slot with a unique layout, that’s outside of the commonly accepted standards. Sure, there are amazing 5x3 slots, but there’s something special about slots such as Legends of Africa. The bonus hit rate is decent and the RTP is beyond the average market average.
