We have to be straight with you, it took us some time to get a good understanding of the bonus features. Although they’re similar, they work rather differently. We’ll start off with a brief explanation of the Rainbow Line.
Rainbow Line – It appears during the base game, during every single spin. One of the nine active lines turns into a Rainbow Line, setting the grounds for Free Spins or Re-Spins. Depending on which symbols land on the Rainbow Line, the respective Rainbow Bonus feature is triggered.
Random Expanding Wild Free Spins – Undeniably, it’s a long name for a bonus feature. Whenever Leprechauns or Fairies interact with a Wild symbol on a winning line, this is one of the features that can trigger. 5 Free Spins are awarded and 1 to 5 Expanding Wilds land on the reels.
Wandering Expanding Wild Free Spins – The trigger mechanic is the same, however, this bonus feature works differently. Unlike the aforementioned, during the 1st spin the Expanding Wild lands on the 5th
reel. With each spin, the Expanding Wild moves one reel to the left. In essence, the two bonus features are identical.
Re-Spin with Frozen Wilds – Keep an eye on the Clover, the Horseshoe and the Pipe because these are the symbols that trigger Re-Spins in Clover Tales. Once triggered, the symbols that were part of the winning line that triggered the said bonus feature, turn into Sticky or Frozen Wilds. These wild symbols are locked in place for the Re-Spin.
Re-Spin with Shifting Wild Symbols – It works pretty much the same, however, this time around the symbols aren’t locked into place. Instead, they take take different positions, ergo the term Shifting Wilds.
