Castle Blood is GameArt’s vampire themed video slot that captivates with detailed graphics, wonderful storyline and a few rewarding elements. We can’t but not mention the uncanny resemblance it has with the Underworld franchise, which features a never ending war between Vampires and Werewolves. Nonetheless, this is GameArt’s original piece that we enjoyed reviewing.

Enter the gloomy Castle Blood and go on a big win hunt. Watch out for the Stacked Symbol above the reels. It can be rewarding just as much as it’s mysterious. After all, these guys have a centuries old tradition.

Data

This vampire themed slot features 25 fixed paylines, and a standard 5x3 symbol grid. Pretty much everything is standard, which makes it a great video slot for beginners. GameArt tends to keep things simple, like the bet settings for instance. Start playing Castle Blood slot with a minimum bet of 0.25 or reach for the top prize jackpot of 7,500 with a maximum bet of 12.50.

Thanks to the game rules and its mechanics, the hit rate is decent, making the game entertaining. However, in spite of the decent hit rate, Castle Blood has a lower than average RTP of 95.3%.

Features

It’s not a distinctive, because there already are a lot of vampire themed slots. Nonetheless, it still feels unique, due to the crossover implied by the presence of wolves. The Male and the Female Vampires are both Wild Symbols. They can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. However, we find the Scatter Symbol significantly more important and more valuable. It looks like a seal, a badge of the Vampire Order. Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatter Symbols triggers 8, 12 or 20 Free Spins respectively.

The trigger rate of the bonus feature is disappointing. It took us a whole eternity to trigger it once, let alone trigger it again. From a graphics point of view, Castle Blood has it all. However, the flaw all GameArt slots have is poor audio. To be straight, we enjoyed the game more with the sound turned off.

Special Features

Free Spins are the best way to reward any slot player. Scatter Symbols can bring you up to 20 free spins. During free games, landing 2, 3, 4 or 5 Scatter Symbols give you additional 5, 8, 12 or 20 Free Spins respectively. This is a lot! However, the chances of winning additional free rounds get smaller with every Wild Symbol that appears on the reels.

These Wild Symbols come with multipliers, in the range of x2 to x5.

In addition, players who are willing to go the extra distance, to win more, can gamble their wins. If you’re a fan of the Gamble feature, you should turn it on, by checking the Gamble box in the settings, located in the bottom left corner. Keep in mind that gamble bets do not count towards the reduction of wagering requirements. You can only guess the color of the card, not the suit.

Conclusion

Vampire fans, head over at any legit GameArt casino and enjoy a game that’s tailor made to your needs. Castle Blood showcases a different vampire world, without any romance in it. Ruthless hunting awaits. Bloody free rounds are just around the corner. The rewarding bonus game is why we’d recommend Castle Blood to you. However, it might take some patience before you get to see it.
